Oat β-Glucan is a functional polysaccharide ingredient extracted from selected oat bran through controlled purification and separation processes. It is specially suitable for solid beverage applications due to its excellent dispersibility and solubility characteristics in dry mix systems.
It contains natural soluble fiber fractions with good flow properties, making it ideal for instant drink powders, meal replacement formulations, and functional beverage premixes where both nutritional enhancement and processing convenience are required.
Unlike common food additives, this product is approved as a new food raw material (Announcement No. 20 of 2014) and is specifically designed as a functional food ingredient rather than a chemical additive.

Formulation & Processing Guidance
Oat β-Glucan can be directly blended with other dry ingredients in solid beverage formulations.
It shows good dispersibility in dry mixes and dissolves readily in water during reconstitution. No special processing equipment is required.
Recommended daily consumption: ≤5g/day. For cholesterol-lowering health claims, a minimum daily intake of 3g is recommended per EFSA guidelines.
Storage & Shelf Life
Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated environment. Keep packaging tightly sealed after opening to avoid moisture absorption and quality degradation.
